Debating and head scratching of whether the R tyres go on the Fuchs or the Wintercults :bang:

I used to be indecisive, now I can't decide :dope:

The Fuchs set up is considerably lighter I assume? So better suited to the more performance oriented tyre?

Definitely the wintercults, because you can run 8 inch wheels up front. And if you go of in the gravel and damage the wheels they are less valuable :)

Just need to consider the Rainsport sizing for 7'' and 8'' Fuchs. I have four 225 45 16. Do if buy and fit 205 50 for the front and keep 215 45 for the rear or shoehorn the 215 45 on the 7'' front and 225 45 on the rear 8'' Fuchs.....

But then I'm using Fuchs for the wet events.....more(?) likely to come off the track

Big conundrum

215 shouldn't be overtired on a 7” with that sidewall, even with the wider sizing of a track tyre surely? I ran 215 on my 7” wheels for years in a 40 profile and looked great front and rear. I have 245 (admittedly road tyres) on 8” on the front and 9” on the rear. You said you preferred my fronts and I tended to agree so bought some 255 for the rear but yet to fit them.

Replacement fuel tank picked up today, in far better condition than it looked in the photos. Next job to get it renu'd, if I'm going to swap a tank I'm only going to do it once.

Tried to adjust the mixture, advance and idle speed today but only managed to either make it run ok but hardly start or run crappy and run extremely rich.
I left the island of adjustment where the car would run great start great but idle a bit high and just got frustrated because i still cant adjust it to be perfect all around.
I need to buy new injectors and service the fuel dizzy as well as get a wideband and gauge fitted.

After 7 years of OCD over the mix and match of door cards, seats and carpet put in by previous owners I now have interior karma.

Picked up all seats and door cards in brown pasha on eBay with a worn driver seat base then a good condition drivers seat but with a twisted frame from here, an afternoon mix and matching seat components and the interior looks more acceptable. Total cost £250 then take off what ever I can sell the previous seats for
