Hi all.

I have less time than ever!! At the weekend I was doctoring because the rota’d chap had to self-isolate. Then I’m supposed to be working from home trying to train future doctors from home but with school closed I’m instead trying to teach school stuff instead. So my working day doesn’t start until about 5pm and then it takes all evening to get the work done!

On the upside, yesterday the medical school donated all its PPE that the students obviously don’t need, to the local GP’s that are running low on supplies. Quiet roads, glorious sunshine and 17psi boost made the Porsche the perfect delivery van! It was so nice to be out in the 924, doing something valuable for the community and it being reliable! Finally feels like I’m winning the war against the gremlins (just in time for lockdown to stop me using it!!)

Your car still looks stunning John, I love working out why it looks so tastefully modernised, yet still has the classic lines. Glad to see it in use though!

Keep using it John on work journeys. Used mine for essential shopping this morning. Two Astons pulled in behind me before queuing for 45mins to get in. At least I had a good view in the car park.

Signed up to NHS volunteers. So if a get some delivery jobs I’ll use the turbo.

I'm awaiting my NHS Volunteer ID checks to be completed

Is there a special tool to squeeze old folk into bucket seats and harnesses?

I did the same. May take a while to check 450,000 volunteers....

Make sure you get an oldie with flexible joints, I speak from experience of trying to insert my wife into the 924 on the odd occasions she is forced into it!

My wife who is a reasonably flexible 45yrs old and only 7st4lbs literally falls into the Recaros and is laughable watching her trying to haul herself out of them.
