Off to Australia next week to see my Son. looking for stuff, places to go, do see.
Will be based in Melbourne for a start and then off to the East Coast.
We know all the normal tourist places but need to know those bars, restaurants, museums
etc that not everyone knows about.
Have got the two major aviation museums covered in the Melbourne area ;-)

Cheers Karl

No Steve that's my step son who owns and runs the northern angling show. This is my son and he is an engineer on the trams in melbourne.
Chip off the old block as he has a 58 chevvy!

Wow!! That is gorgeous!! I did the great ocean road about 12 years ago in a beat up rental Honda Civic! So amazing to do it in the Chevy!!

If you do the east coast, rent a 4x4 and take it on the ferry to Frazier island (largest sand island in the world) and camp there for a couple of nights. Lake Mackenzie is the most beautiful place in the world and the 1 place is like to visit again more than any other! Just make sure you rent a 4x4 that’s allowed to go to Frazier because some companies won’t allow you and the ferry guys dob you in for a kick back apparently!!

Happy travels - very jealous!!
