Interesting stuff, I remember watching one of those idiot Car SOS resto programmes a few weeks back, where they needed to get a frost cracked cast iron cylinder head repaired and found an old chap in one of these loco resto workshops who was one of the few that could still do stitch welding repairs to cast iron, wasn't one of your mates was it?

That is fairly spectacular!
Is it owned privately and privately financed? I'm guessing that it's not cheap to restore something like that?!

It's no wonder you have nearly double figures of 924's Kozzy! By those standards the 924 is a finely tuned and agile piece of precision engineering!!

That engine re-install photo is incredible!! I'm intruded to here the specs on that diesel motor!!

924T engine with Eaton M90 Supercharger (DB7), 565cc injectors, coil pack ignition, Adaptronic ECU, Custom Air/water charge cooler, Wideband O2 + 4x EGT. 4pot Brembos, Spax adjustable dampers. 951 G'box with LSD & cooler, 944T style bumper. HID Lo-Pro headlights. 968 mirrors, handles + spoiler. Zender rear valance. Custom side skirts, Forged 17" wheels (8J front, 9J rear). Custom hubs (5x114.3 PCD), Twin circuit coolant re-route (2 pumps, 2 'stats, 2 radiators), 6 gauge centre console.
