I'm trying to come up with a suitable option for a replacement for the rear shocks after it seems they appear to be no longer available anywhere?
https://porsche924.co.uk/forum/viewtopi ... 46&t=32048I've tried all the obvious options but with no joy.
The KYB ones suggested have different lower mounts (possibly shim?)
The N/A ones have a 12mm lower mount not a 14mm required for the S (Could this have a new lower bush fitted and if so, how easy is this to get done?)
I know the sports versions Koni's - Bilstens etc are still available but, I wanted to keep my ride standard as it's my intention to use the S as a daily driver and don't want a harsh ride.
I've contacted ZF Sachs to ask of the possibility of a run of them being manufactured but, I'm not sure what sort of response I'll get.
At the moment, the S is jacked up with the rear shocks off. I know I could pop the old ones back on and keep using the car but, it seems a silly situation to be in!
Any other suggestions?
