I believe these to be original and the only set I have seen for sale in the past couple of years.

Would really like a set in black.

I even asked the parts guy at the local OPC if he could search for a set as I was lucky enough to find an original set (still in a 1990’s box) for the 928 but all gone long ago.

I also bought (but then returned) the 968 set that are still available and the driver and rear fit great although clearly more modern than should be in a 1980 model but the passenger side wasn’t right. Possibly due to the air con unit in mine but returned them anyway.

Even the set in the picture don’t fit great on the passenger side of mine (although more straight cut than the 986 set which have a curve to them) but if I have only ever seen one set of original 924 mats for sale in the past couple of years not holding out much hope for an original set for a RHD model with air con !

Fitted a set of new old stock "Porsche Possessions" 944 carpets in my first S , only problem was they were "Linen" compared to my "light grey" interior, but weren't to obvious, fitted fine. Even had the correct press stud fasteners.

Can't see why there should be any difference, floor pan is the same.

Still no reply from Porsche  Perhaps I should sent an email to Nr Noack , he has been very helpful in the past and I havent contacted him for over two years...

I think its pretty unfair and not sales-wise not to indicate that these OE carpets are also available for the 924/924S .....

http://www.classicshop.porsche.com/pcos ... 235fv.html

( they also need to change the description above from 986 to 968...)

Yes, I picked one up the other week. It’s amazing!

Hi hey also have 12v fluid pumps. Ideal for gearbox oil changes.
