I’m no expert on the N/A but, I was surprised to note the the shell that I’m cutting up had a rear ARB - I thought only the S/turbos had one?

An option on all I believe. Very early cars had a really thick floating bar that didn't anchor to the cross tube before they moved to the system that ran through to the end of production

I’ll have to check it doesn’t have a LSD
It’s been an odd car, turbo sill covers, ARB’s, what else am I going to find on it?

If yours has the rare option of machine guns behind the front bumper overriders I'm very interested Mike

Probably bigger chance to find the machine gun option than the LSD one :)

To be fair, I wouldn’t know how to identify a LSD. I could probably work out the the machine gun shouldn’t be there.....

Raise rear of car off the ground. Spin one wheel. If the other wheel rotates in the opposite direction, no LSD, if same direction, LSD present! Not sure if you have an engine attached to this car though as the torque tube probably needs to be held still.

I think a better LSD test is to have it in neutral, only one rear wheel off the floor, spin it (and inherently spin the torque tube) , eventually it should stop if it has LSD.
