Would love to be joining you, but the dates just don’t work out for me! As you know I will be in the UK 10 days before! Promise I’ll try and come next year!

Hi all,

Numbers are building nicely. If you let me have your emails, I’ll send the main route as plotted on google maps. It’s a fun twisty drive from Blyton Park Race Circuit. Blyton Park is an Ed RAF base too where we have permission to intrude upon a private event and have breakfast at their cafe, while we gather.
We then proceed to the Wolds for a drive through a very pretty bit of Lincolnshire towards East Kirby museum.

At the museum we have permission to park on the site and should get a photo opportunity in front of the Lancaster.

We will leave the museum for a quick drive to RAF Woodhall Spa where we have permission to walk the derelict runways.

For those interested, I’ll check when and if the BBMF are flying and will try to see them home, if possible.

Can I ask you to email me at events@porsche924.co.uk to confirm you’re coming and if you’d like to join for dinner at the bluebell inn- I need to book that by the weekend.

You’ll get a full briefing pack, rally plaque and gift from me. In addition, there will be a prize for the best photo for the day with a very poiniant trophy.

There is no charge for the run. Entry to the museum is the only cost plus food as you want it.

Could I ask you to consider putting some money in for the CALM appeal that we supported at Turbo40 at the end of the event, if you enjoyed it?

I will forward the instructions to all who have asked for them this weekend. I have made a route on Google maps. Ideally if you could have this pre-loaded ready for the run, it will take a lot of the hassle away when driving the route, if you become detatched.

I will print you a paper copy of the run too and the usual pack of goodies for the event.

Please remember there is still time to join us.

Just post below or email me at events@porsche924.co.uk

Weather looks like it should be fine, but cloudy. Fingers crossed the rain holds off.

I’ve sent emails to you all with details of the route. If you don’t get them, please let me know.

It would be helpful to know how many people are coming and if you’re bringing more than one car, so I can let the venues know.

If you’re still wanting to come, it’s not too late. Just email me or reply to the thread.

Weather looks good, fingers crossed!
