Will do my upmost to be there

Unfortunately, various personal circumstances have collided today, meaning that I won't be able to attend.
Please accept my apologies as I know this is an important AGM, but I've had to prioritise work and family today.

Sorry for not making it. I had a number of issues to resolve post yesterdays hillclimb, namely 4 illegal for road use tyres, non working AFR sensor as the wire was yanked out being in the orchard parking plus a few other niggles whilst the car was in the air. With car needed next weekend, today was my only opportunity in between home and work life. I hope all is going well?

A very good AGM yesterday, with all that attended chipping in with their opinions and ideas.
It wasn't the quickest meeting but it was a very constructive and with most of us on the same page, which is a bonus
Nice to see so many people offer to do a bit here and there to help out, although we have a few that do lots of work, they can't do it all and this will help no end

Many thanks to Alex for the lift in his Turbo, the car feels very smooth and pulls nicely. It was my first trip in a Turbo other than Steve's on a hillclimb. A bit of polish and it'll be sorted.

I found the meeting very interesting and was impressed by the dedication and enthusiasm of the committee members.
I was very grateful for the help in sorting out the wobbly wheel on my car. Many chipped in with the offer and loan of tools and particular thanks to Daz who helped with the spannering. Sorry for the dirty hands and tools!
Who needs the RAC when you have such a friendly club. Just to add the I got home with all 4 wheels still on the car.

As echoed above, it was a very constructive meeting, with more hands up to volunteer than I was anticipating. Experience from other clubs was certainly leaned on to help. I think even the committee were surprised at how in depth the debate was. Somehow it never became too tedious, and nobody waffled on or gave unwelcome information. We have plenty of useful ideas to implement and research over the coming weeks and months.

There wasn't time on this occasion to see the museum, and we were not outside at quite the right moment for the Hurricane flyby. But I did take several pictures of all the cars:
