I haven't booked anywhere yet. Do you think it's OK to book something as its end of May or should I hold on.

I am trying to get this running but I may have no choice but to delay it. Most hotels are cancelling bookings. The venues aren’t open. We can’t drive anywhere...

If you haven’t booked anything, hold off. If you have, I will be ready to go if we can. If not I will postpone it. Petwood, when I spoke to them said they could switch my breakfast booking later in the year.

I have until end of April to cancel my hotel booking but it’s hard to know whether we will be still in lockdown or just social distancing by then. Peak is expected in 2 weeks ‘up north’ and this event is 6 weeks after that so anything could happen!

Sadly, with all that is happening with the outbreak, I can't see this being possible. All the venues I've spoken to or e-mailed are shut and have no indication as to when they could open again normally. It's almost certain that won't be this month.

I'm sorry. I really wanted this to happen but I can't realistically do so.

However, my plan will be to reschedule the event later in the year, if social distancing measures allow it.

Keep safe everyone.

Completely understand why you have had to cancel. We are living in very strange times. Hopefully you can organise something later in the year, or bigger and even better in 2021. I will go ahead and cancel my accommodation. Stay safe everyone.

Hi Ed. I think that was inevitable given how things are. I’ve cancelled my accommodation too, and this is the trigger to now get on and swap in the 6-speed gearbox! Looking forward to when it does happen!m

I was expecting this outcome TBH, but needed to wait until the last few weeks to be certain that there's no chance of it. We will do this later in the year for sure.

Will certainly do it later in the year. It will give me a chance to get some jobs done on the car before then, including installing a DAB radio and some better speakers
