Hello All

Unfortunately the past week has not been a happy one for the committee of the 924 Owners Club. Everyman Racing, the company hosting 92Forty at Prestwold, has pulled the plug on us stating that they could no longer offer the event we had booked almost a year ago with them. We have spent the last week trying to get them to honour the contract but they refunded our deposit on Friday.

We were initially stunned (and more than a little heart broken) but have been working tirelessly to pull together a new venue with the main target of preserving the date and the track action.

We must have called just about every race circuit, sprint circuit & aerodrome in Britain but have found something rather special that just needs some finalisation before we announce it.

Rest assured the details will be out very soon and if you have booked already then your place is reserved.

Sorry for the bombshell...

Eagerly awaiting what 'something special' might be...

That was our first thought too, but they were happy to host our event on the same area as we intended, just with a static display on the track as opposed to actually driving on it. As that's such an integral part of the event, we declined.

Their internal communication has been shambolic and unfortunately we are the victims. We can't really enter into legal battles but thankfully we shouldn't be out of pocket, so it's just the stress we have to cope with :boohoo:
