The first of the cars we sold at the NEC leaves with it's new owner.

It will look great beside his two tone green 924 Turbo!

I was at the NEC stand with the 2.0 NA and I was sooo excited by the whole thing that I only took one picture?!?! It was a great time meeting everyone mostly for the first time and it was a great overall experience. The last time I was at the NEC was at the 1990 (I think) car show so a revisit was long overdue.

The Saturday night curry was the best I had all year (though not difficult living in Zug, Switzerland) and it was great to chat to all round the table. I also had a moment (with Ed?) as Ricky's beast fired up and spat at my jeans....

Not sure if my pictures are going to upload, but I even managed to buy the white 912 in Silverstone's Auctions for friends in CH. Take it from me, it's far worse spending others' money than your own:)

Yes, that was with me.

I shall never wash those jeans again...

Serious envy of that 912. I'd really, really like one of those.

Some bits of the show some of you might not have seen:

Gay Classic Car Club, where each car had a bundle of suitable trinkets to match the era of their car. Here's the 80's:

Photoshop attempting to merge my 2 photos of our club stand, and ending up with this double-desk, but it works!

We've still got one of those casio calculator/keyboard things (VL-1), brilliant little thing for its time as it had a sampler built in.

I'm a sort of Casio nerd as well as a Vauxhall nerd. I'm sure people here will understand the draw of an obsession.

Nah, the sk1 was a sampler, the vl1 had a sequencer and simple tone generation. Most famous as da da da...

I have one
