Sorry to hear that Allan. That’s the second year you’ve missed out at the last minute- how unlucky have you been?

Hope all is well with her soon.

Nothing owed as you weren’t breakfasting with us.

Thank you to everyone who came today. Ten cars on most of the run and, although the weather was a bit grim, I hope you all had a great time.

Les and John, I have a gift for you both that I will get to you next time I see you.

Brilliant day out with the squadron around Lincolnshire today. Even with the morning drizzle we had a formation of 10 'flyers', piloted and navigated by brave men and women from all over the UK. We had a tricky moment over the Petwood, when Ed discovered the Germans had invaded the squadron bar, but fortunately they were soon beaten by the Lincolnshire sausages and left with their tail between their legs.

A wonderfully prepared day, with the briefing documents being a great touch! - thanks Ed!

Excellent day out! It was great to see so many 924s on the road and it turns out that Lincolnshire is great driving country. And despite being massively obsessed with planes as a child, I learnt a lot of new things about Bomber Command today, so it's been educational too. It was obvious that a lot of work went into the organisation, so huge thanks to Ed for puting it all together.

I'm also pleased because I drove my car about 275 miles today, easily the longest journey it's done since I brought it back from Devon 18 months ago, and there was still plenty of coolant in the tank when I got home! I think this qualifies as a minor triumph.

If you got any photos on the day, could you post them here and wetransfer them to Pete:

Publications@porsche924.co.uk

Please also post your feelings on the day, it’ll help encourage more next time (hopefully). Also if you’d be willing to write a short piece about your experience for the magazine, I’m planning to do less event write up and more members’ experiences.
