I notice there are 2 Classic car events on at the NEC each year, which one is the best?

The November one is usually the largest.

I've attended the Classic Motor Show in the past, and will be attending the Classic Car and Restoration Show in a couple of weeks time.

Which is better, I've no idea at the moment as I can’t compare the two, but there is a subtle difference in the names of the show. I'm assuming there will be significantly more ‘works in progress’ cars displayed over concurs examples at the Restoration Show, and more concurs examples at the Classic Motor Show.

In terms of size, the website for the Classic Motor Show states 2500 cars, whereas the Restoration Show there is only 1000 on show.

Different facets of the same market. From what I know, as I haven't yet been, the Resto show is focussed on....restoration  so in theory more for hands on enthusiast owner/ drivers. Apart from not being as large, it will have similarities with the November event .https://www.necrestorationshow.com

The Classic Motorshow is broader, people considering a purchase , rekindling old interests. There is a substantial parts and equipment presence but also auctions and sales. It's the biggest UK show of it's kind representing an £8 Billion Classic car movement.

Go to both !

I like both shows, the November show is huge and it takes a full day to walk around. It's very tiring but you will see so much.

Well worth popping over the pond for

What others have said... November is huge with a more upmarket feel and more carpeting to walk on. There's still autojumble / parts etc but the March Resto show is probably a bit better in this respect.
I personally prefer November but they are both excellent events
