Well done Jason. That looks varied and interesting.

Nice one, when you publish details of lunch and final stops, might try and drop in on one.

Yes, some narrow twisty bits, some open A roads and a long bridge. Something for everyone
There's also a very narrow bridge.

I've done a lot of the route on street view, looking forward to it

My prefered route took us to the Brecon Beacons and back but i thought it was probably a bit too much for some
We'll save that for my next Wales tour (hopefully in the Autumn)

Right folks, here are the sat nav routes for Garmin (gpx) and tomtom (itn)
There is also a KML file for Google maps, although not sure how you use that
The routes are stored on my shared drive (link below)

if you have any other system on your phone, find out what file type it uses for routes and I can convert for you

TomTom (older versions) plug into to your PC, open up explorer or other file system viewer
Find and open your TomTom, find and open the itn directory. drop the itn file into that directory

Garmin, plug into to your PC, open up explorer or other file system viewer
Find and open your Garmin, find and open the gpx directory. drop the gpx file into that directory

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... sp=sharing

I will do some print outs but i don't like drivers trying to read routes.
There won't be too many of us and we'll have two way radios, so i'm sure we'll manage to stay together anyway

Those meeting at the Toby Carvery at Over on Saturday, and coming to the event on Sunday from the A40 West, should be aware that there are some painful roadworks on the A40 at Over roundabout (junction with the A417) about 1/2 mile east of the Toby. All of the approaches are being redesigned and there are constant lane closures causing some pretty horrendous traffic queues most of the time. These are scheduled for about 3 months.

I gave my car a proper good going over with my Karcher two weeks ago and following that it wouldn't start.
Probably damp in somewhere but getting rid of said damp during two weeks of p155ing rain, it didn't happen.
I had a New Coil, Dist Cap and DME relay sitting in my parts store, so I fitted them anyway, although i didn't expect any of that to work and it didn't but at least I know they are good.

My attempts to start her had started to drain the battery, so i asked the guys at the garage/mot station opposite my house to have a look today while I was out.

My back up plan was to come in my Boxster so i could still lead the drive but I have just been getting it ready to sell and would rather not pepper it with a million bugs filth.

Well I came home after the garage had closed and it doesn't look like my car has moved
I really wanted them to look today in case they needed to order any parts.

So I left the house this evening and Darren from the garage was leaving his flat above, "we ad a butcher's at yer car Jay, put the jump pack on and she started up"

HAPPY DAYS !!!

Just need to clean it now
