When and where

Sunday 13th May, Prescott Speed Hill Climb. GL52 9RD

What do I need?

You must have paid in advance to the rotary club. Do not turn up without having pre booked.
You need to have received the joining instructions from the rotary club.
In this email you will have a windscreen pass in word format. You need to amend this to show entrance 2 and area P.
Print off the label and show it upon entry.

All 924 Owners club cars will be parked in the Orchard.
Gates open at 8.30

I’m doing hill runs. What happens?

The final instructions explain this clearly but briefly...
Once parked, report to the hut to get hill tickets.
No one can go up the hill without reporting for the briefing.
Hill slots are coloured tickets in time blocks. You will queue to get into the track in advance if your slot.
When moving your car from the orchard you will need to be very mindful of pedestrians- we’re the only ones running from this area.
Try to return to your space when your run is over.

I am not running the hill. What happens?

We will direct you to park and try to keep you separate from the hill runners.
If you are joining the slow cavalcade, you need to sign on and be briefed after 1030. You will see to be in your car ready by 1.15 at the latest.

I’ve paid but don’t have a final joining email.

You need it! Contact Geoff Kimber geoffkimber@btinternet.com or Phil Gill gillphil@talktalk.net to get it.

Weather

The event goes ahead no matter the weather.

I amended my windscreen pass to Entrance 2 Area P... and I also added the Entry number that was in my original confirmation. I don't know if that's correct

I’ve had no information ion about the entry number, but it can’t do any harm!

Weather forecast is good!

Still not had a reply from the Organisers.
I know there is still time, but I will not be driving down on the off chance.

As I read the notes, you will still need to attend a briefing, even if you are only in the cavalcade.

I emailed Geoff. He had my address wrong by one letter. Now have my windscreen ‘permit’
