Hi there

New 924 owner here and am just starting to tackle some of the issues with the car. First on the list is the Speedo cable. I can see where it runs from the left front wheel and then disappears through the bulkhead. Can anyone tell me the best way to change it out for a new cable? How can I get at it behind the bulkhead?

Thanks!

Just runs behind the dash. Easy to get to from underneath. Need to pop the speedo gauge out to disconnect

It can be awkward to feed it round the heater box without excessively bending the cable, try and feed it partly through the bulkhead to eliminate the need to bend it too much.

Oil the inner thoroughly.

Pulling the old one out the hub can be fun, good for a bruise or two.
