Why have you all got red bottoms on your cars - are you in a gang?

Chris and Steve started it. I discovered my two tone turbo nearby, and Russ is copying us as I wouldn't let him buy my car and he couldn't find another one!

 Are you red-bottom guys going to the Bicester event, assuming it runs?

Yes, hoping to, although it will be hard to beat the photo we managed last year:

Fantastic picture, I'll bet that one is framed and hung on the wall...

Thanks for the seat belt tip Jason!

Hi guys, I just picked up the car today and removed the C-pillar covers and found the M10 bolts on the pillars for the 3-point seat belts upper mount, as you guys suggested.

Before I order a set of 3-point statics, are we certain that there aren't any mounting points for the inertia reels down behind the rear seats. Where would these be on the installation show in the photo below from an earlier car? I have a feeling that static belts are going to be a pain in the ar** for use with a baby seat (OK for a booster though)...

I've had a look around for pics but cannot find any of the mounting point....

Hope someone can help! Thanks for all your support so far! cheers, Dean

Inertia mounts for rear belts weren't fitted until 1988 in the last S, that's when proper mounting points in the rear were provided, can be seen where the large hump is by the boot light

I have a very nice condition pair of static 3 point belts available. They were removed from a 924 I am converting to a rally car if you are interested in them.

Thankyou !!

I'll see if I can find some pics of the brackets now that I know what I'm looking for, to see how do-able it is on an earlier car....

I believe Dr John fitted these in his supercharged n/a by chopping the mounts out of an early 944 and welding them into his car, not sure how he got around the carpet side panels.
