If things were a bit more central I'd be interested, weather not an issue for me.

As always time has got away on me and as Esther cant make 19 March how do you all feel about 2 April for the meet in the Wakefield area. I am talking to Dave and Jeff about their suggestions, is this day good for you all?

Lets make the Newcastle area meet 30 April to give us the best chance of good weather to tempt Paul and the CGT out. Anyone got suggestions of a nice place where we can meet up for a Sunday lunch? It has to be somewhere with a good car park and preferably where we can get some pictures of the cars with an attractive background. We need to get these events into the magazine to show what a great place the North east is.

I will also include Rob's suggestion for a day out or run in North Yorkshire later in the summer in which he mentions Hamsterley Forest as a possible venue. I am going to meet up with him soon and see if we can develop this idea, any interest?

More on these dates soon, come and join us.

Sheffield is only just over an hour from me, so might be able to get the family out for a lunch meet, make it fairly close to the motorway for easy access.

Just a thought, Golf Cubs have big car parks and usually in nice settings and most of them would welcome you with open arms especially if you intend to eat there.

helmsley always looks a good picturesque place , i go to the bird of prey centre there and there is the manor house there and helmsley castle up the road alongside rievaulx abbey , a nice 1960s village centre and plenty of eateries and it sits approx half way between sheffield and newcastle .... plus it is far enough away that we dont all blow our life savings at gmund although there is a great sandwich van on the york road just outside knaresborough i found :food:
