I will try and get there by around 10:30 - 11:00 as the earlier you get there, the better spot you get and it is easier to park up. Obviously, I will let you know firm timings nearer the event. Looking forward to meeting up. Sorry that you won't get to do the hillclimb. It sounds as if they have had so many applications that they have introduced this date cut off.

As I have only had one confirmed reservation for the quayside parking on the Sunday for the hillclimb, that is what I will reserve, as there is very limited space and I have been asked to confirm with the organisers exactly how many I need. Hew, your space is guaranteed, along with mine!

Looking forward to it.

Bit nervous about the Eurotunnel crossing though; hopefully the car crossings will not be affected by people trying to climb
into passengers' boots.

Will there be any French 924's?

I think there may be some delays on your return journey, but they appear to be mostly targeting lorries, so wouldn't worry too much.

There might be a couple of 944s and 928s on the Sunday, but I think we'll be the only 924s, as they are very rare here and the ones I have seen have been quite tatty, or have been stripped out for racing. I did see a 924S outside a garage on a recent sortie. I stopped on the way back to take a look. It is a RHD English car that has been reregistered over here. It was a C plate in Guards Red with black interior. It had a 924 Club sticker in the rear window. As it was a Sunday, there ws no one there to ask, but I may go over sometime to find out a bit more. I will post in the spotted section of the forum to see if it rings a bell with anyone.

Ruby passed her Controle Technique this morning with flying colours. This was the final one before she is eligible to become a Voiture de Collection in 2017. After this, she will only need one very 5 years.

Looking forward to meeting up with you. Will let you know firm timings as soon As I hear.
