Just been reading an article about Porsche 3D aluminium printed pistons for 911 gt2rs, and that they apparently matched or exceeded comparable forged pistons. So there is hope.

For a price I would guess ..... easy to suck up in a £150k new GT2RS price. Not so easy on an old 924?

I ended up buying Mahle 503 52 02 (87.5mm second oversized) ones as <£1,300 all in for a set from Mahle Uk stockist http://www.marmotorsport.com/...

https://catalog.mahle-aftermarket.com/g ... 02#divider (might need to search the above part number)

Cast or forged? Do they have S1 and 2 pistons? Pilsey is needing S2 pistons

I think they are cast. They’d sold out of first over size but was a good price for these and I was struggling to get a quote or spec for forged. I had to phone them to check stock originally.
