Has anyone got a know working fuel accumulator?
It looks like this is now the issue with the Red NA. The change of spark plugs this morning made a significant change to the strength of the spark but, the garage noted that the fuel pressure has dropped significantly since last week. I can’t think of anything else obvious?

Its unlikely the accumulator has got clogged and its function makes no difference to a cold start.

Much more likely that the fuel filter has clogged, almost always happens when the fuel hoses have been emptied.

Whatever they do make sure they do not bypass the fuel filter, the last place you want any gunge is in the fuel metering and distributor system.
