I'm looking to get a couple of new drain valves for my car (they drain the water from the battery bulkhead area - I believe they're the same for all 924/early 944 variants but someone else may know better) and finding them hard to located in the UK

Any suggestions guys?
I see they have a VW AUDI logo on them so hopefully they can be located in the UK for a reasonable price

If not, Rosepassion have them for a very reasonable price...
https://www.rosepassion.com/en/cat/944- ... alve/P7503
...but after adding VAT and delivery they're going to work out at about 12 quid each.
If I order 10 they're about 6 quid each.
If I order 20 they're about 5 quid each.

So... unless anyone knows where to get them in the UK for a reasonable price, would anyone else be needing some if I place a bulk order?

Pennies at Porsche. Or try vwheritage

Open up PET and locate the part + part number. Many are still available from OPC and usually a little cheaper than Rosepassion.

According to Design911 they're £4.20 and I usually get a better price on parts from the OPC in Solihull.

I’ve never really understood their function, there shouldn’t be any fumes from the engine bay, it’s a sealed system.

It shoudl be but even Mr Porsche clearly wasn't that confident of not gassing his owners.

Good comeback!

I guess bulkhead isolation must be a legal requirement as every car has a bonnet sealing strip.

Update

Porsche Centre Solihull ordered two new drain valves for me:
£3.51 plus VAT each... £8.42 in total, and no charge for posting them to me!

They have always provided me with an excellent service
