If anyone was inclined to export to excel and analyse, go to howmanyleft.com and pull all the Porsche (or indeed the LR) data of registered v taxed over the decades. If its not taxed its 'not on the road'. I would suspect it closer to 50% than 70%.

Perhaps Porsche production has expanded in the last two to three decades to such an extent that the vast majority of that 70% comprises cars that are no more than 15/20 years old. I hope that's not the case... but I suspect it is

Anyway, it's good to see more classic parts available for the originality types

One useful part is the elusive throttle cable retaining clip to the throttle lever.

yes i noted that Stan, also for all na and turbo owners they have reproduced the holders for the clips that retain the HT leads part number 046905477 and 047905477 they produced the plastic clips a while back and they are still available.
also the cover for the rear wiper arm retaining nut has been reproduced (I have managed to break 2 of these) 477955415.
Still waiting for interior mats to fit the 924 and crank sensor for series 2 turbo

RHD floor mats are available as a set with the original fasteners as well. They are advertised only as a 944 set for some reason, i have emailed Porsche about this but no reply

I had heard that your local Porsche dealer had taken an injunction out against you to stop you hassling them for obsolete wooden veneers!
There is apparently CCTV footage of you being escorted from the premises after requesting rare side decals a few weeks ago!!

Is edition 5 actually out yet? Leeds OPC who are one of the Classic Centres say they haven't seen it yet?
