Whoever put those wheels on needs to have a stern word with themselves...

Strong money. When you take into account buyers fees etc that’s going to be near £5k.

It’s going to cost a lot to get it recommissioned and whoever bought is must know that. Just reconfirms what we know, don’t undersell a good running or recently running turbo.

Really? With Brightwells? I thought their hammer prices then had extras added?

Either way, that’s a big project.

By comparison, the gold 928 in much better condition went for &1k less.

Fair enough. Still that’s a fair chunk of money for a car which needs a full restoration. The engine alone...

I’m not spending £10k on a taxed and tested runner. I know. I’ll buy a fixer upper and save money

Agree Steve. I’m really uncertain what £4K has bought there. Bodywork is iffy. Mechanically it will need every part overhauling or replacing. That it is one owner is I guess the best you could cling to but then what use is that if you end up doing a full resto?

I’d rather spend 10k plus on a decent example first. £6k doesn’t buy a lot of Porsche bits.

It’s a funny marketplace at the moment.
