Would be good to know who restored it, so you'd have a good idea on the quality of workmanship (especially with remote bidding)

Auctioneer should provide info if you ask....more so as you cannot inspect

Maybe the it wasn’t as bad as it looked with faded paint. New paint, wheel Refurb and tyres makes the outside look good assuming they repaint was well done. Inside clearly has had a deep clean.

Mechanically is the concern. 12 hrs can be unkind to all the mechanicals. How much of this was done beyond a deep clean in the engine bay. New brakes? Big engine service? Gearbox oil change?

You’d want to know exactly where that exhaust leak is. If it’s a bust manifold stud then it’s head off before you start to enjoy it.

The exhaust was hanging off, the whole system was rotten, the biggest problems have encountered with recommissioning cars that have been stood for so long, the fuel pump fails within days if the fuel tank has not been purged, then after a couple of weeks driving the slave or master cylinder for the clutch will fail, then the callipers start to bind and require overhaul. If they can answer all these questions on top of is the gear box and clutch ok, why was it taken off the road then so easy to recommission

Even then after all the work is done problems still surface, just ask Dave, the fuel tank still gave problems
