Quote:
Superb low mileage 924 Turbo, these 80s classics are only going one way now...
*Guards red with an unmarked cream and brown pasha interior coming with a fresh Mot
*In a private collection for the last 7 years with only occasional use, having been with its former owner for over 20 years
*A series II, this car has the higher horsepower and increased reliability over the early 924s by use of the smaller turbocharger
*A fine example of the marque, and may represent one of the few remaining opportunities to acquire such a low mileage example

No its a series 1 by nature of its chassis number and defining S1 specs
No it is an S1 so its less than S2
No its no more reliable/unreliable than an S1/2, but given its an S1 and not an S2 its unreliable buy your definition ....
No same confusion as above. S1 has larger turbine, smaller compressor and vis a vis. Turbo size does nothing to reliability

Poor copy and pasting of previous incorrect t'internet data :dope: :dope: :dope:

And another

https://www.classiccarauctions.co.uk/19 ... port-10767

A superbly balanced lightweight in the spirit of the old 911 RS...
One of 306 UK-spec, 968 Club Sports ordered by Porsche GB and badged 'Sport'
Widely regarded as one of the finest handling front-engined, rear-wheel-drive cars ever made
Large history file, £5,240 engine rebuild at marque specialist at 99,693 miles
Four former keepers, 12 years current ownership, MoT until Oct 2019
Thrilling to drive and rare as the proverbial 'hen's teeth'

I may be wrong but.... its a Sport, it says so in the boot and nothing to do with a 911 RS
No, its a Sport not a Clubsport, it says Sport on its bum, if it were a club sport it would say 968CS, it has Comfort seats, the CS had Recaro buckets, it has rear seats, the CS had rear seat delete. There were many other parts and trim removed from the CS to make it lighter.

At least it's the correct info now.

If I'm not mistaken, this was the turbo we had at the NEC in November 2017?

Yep, Susan Ma's car. It's an excellent example
