This is near me. He’s got two cars on the verge of being on the cusp of salvageable but he’s also got a Turbo which has been stood for years which he’s talking sticking on eBay in the next few days.

Sounds like a 3 for the price of 1 - not taking into account the amount of resto work required , still its 3 transaxles....

I've wound up with this car, strangely enough for a few bits I need for the red car (which is still not running!) and the stereo which hopefully, with go into the Merc, depending on what it is and if it works!

The other early 924 had been bought by a ‘Porsche breaker’.
I’m hopefully going to pop up sometime next week and look at the turbo he has as he’s been saying for weeks now that he’s going to put it on eBay but, never does?

It turned up yesterday and it’s far worse than descibed
It actually appears to be Porsche’s first attempt at an environmental green car....

I was hoping that the stereo would be a Becker or Blaupunkt but, it turned out to be a Phillips so, that won’t be going in the Merc!

I’ll hopefully get my money back on it, especially as for some bizarre reason, it appears to have turbo sill covers on, which threw me a bit. They must have been a strange option to add to a standard car?

I was hoping for a few more of the bits to be in better shape but, there’s a lot of little bits I could do with.

I'm sure you will find why the sill covers are there when you take them off!

Yes, I'm hoping they will help recoup some of the costs of the car purchase!

I'm going to start stripping it tomorrow - hopefully I'll get my money back?
