Model: 924 turbo S1
One of these rare Brazilian VW’s (that gets compared to 924s, albeit rear engined) turns up in the USA:

That rear end and hatch is very 928, and the front looks like a 240Z.

Its very nice, as said the lower back end is 928-ish which to me is the best back end there is, the front reminds me of a Scimitar, another car I am fond of.

Not so keen on the rear side grills but it would need something there to make it look balanced.

Definitely a hint of the 924 if you follow the evolution chain.
