They are expensive for tool kits but cant argue , they look fantastic :drool:

Would rather buy Snap On set which is over priced, but not as much as those sets ........ Halfords Professional will suffice. Will be better quality than those tools I’m sure too

I appreciate the work involved in relaunching these things but the prices always seem ridiculously high

As is usual in these cases, the price is established based on what they can get away with charging, rather than what it's worth

I was speaking with Nathan at Sutton Coldfield OPC recently they do a 944 kit but its not the same as the original ones and comes in at around £230 iirc.

Looks great but can’t think why the go to the bother of relaunching this kind of stuff. Parts I get as it helps keep our cars on the road, but how many of these are they going to sell.

Enough to make a decent profit. Slap an official Porsche badge on it and make enormous profits on this sort of thing. Then subsequently fail in a Porsche Club GB concours as it doesn’t have an original tool kit!
