It's not a track day, it's a parade. Should be under any classic policy |

That seems to be a red herring. Presumably you would be covered if parking in a farmers field at an event.....not a public highway. |

My brother and I have had a fantastic day!! Friday for me is one of the best days as the crowds are minimal so you get to see so much without queuing and photos are easier without people in the way all the time. Today we've been so lucky to literally brush up (sorry!) multi-million £ cars like the Ferrari Birdcage, Bentley blower (1932), countless Astons, ferraries, a Porsche 996 GT1, racing Maclaren F1 - one of my favourites this year, not to mention a miriad of racing versions of classic 50's to 80's daily drivers (mini coopers, cortinas, escorts, alfa's..... The list goes on and on!) The Porsche UK stand is worthy of particular mention. There must be 25 transaxle models there (3/4 of all the cars displayed), and the majority of those are the 924 I think it's fair to say without actually counting! Porsche club GB have a vast stand too, but pride of place infront of there main stage is a raised plinth with a 1976 924 on it - apparently the first RHD 924 to enter the UK!! Good on them for putting the 'humble' 924 up front! ![]() |
