Great work team!!!

It's a great venue and has just enough other things going on to complement the day without being too big a distraction!! (I'm easily distracted and then disheartened when the day nears the end and I've still got loads to see!!!)

Thanks again for your 11th hour efforts!!

A good result, missed the 35th there, will have to make the effort for this one

Have the entry requirements and fees been sorted yet?

Congratulations

Silverstone was always my first choice when looking for a 40th venue and as the committee know I came up against a brick wall unless we wanted to shell out more than 15k!!. Prestwold was a good alternative and could have hosted a great event but I always thought Silverstone was where it should be.

I'm sure there was a lot of grief caused to the committee by Prestwold moving the goal posts and whoever was responsible for messing the club about should get their just deserts but their forcing the Club's hand has resulted in a far better outcome. What was looking to be a great event is now on target to be an awesome event in the perfect setting.

I can only imagine the efforts the committee has gone to in order to get this venue and credit where it is due, they achieved to deliver what I just couldn't despite my best efforts so a very well done all. :worship:

We're working with Porsche on the costs now including the format of the day and track activity , we will hopefully be able to announce the detail early next week.

We can say that the member's entry price will remain the same at £8 and must be paid in advance, no paid entry on the day.
