Good evening all, I hope that you’re well.

I’m Matt and I used to be a member quite some time ago when I owned my lovely 924 B477LUF if I recall correctly, I also had a 924 turbo (should not have sold that!!) and I had an early 944.

I then made a jump into America muscle and had a 1996 mustang which was quite the aural experience once I had played with the exhaust and set up. However as the kids were young and work meant 60 odd hour weeks if not more plus some weekend working I made the decision to sell up and not have a weekend car.

Well that was 3 years ago now and I’m ready to get back into it... I have a few ideas toying in my mind but top of my list is 944/924. I’m 6ft7 and I know I can fit, parts are fairly cheap but mostly because if I recall this is a cracking forum and looking at online members in the last 24 hours some of the old firm are still around giving amazing advice no doubt and great banter.

Hopefully you’ll welcome me back if I go down this route.

Matt

Of course mate!

Was always a pleasure coming online!

I’ve got a few hours to play catch up and see what’s changed, new cars etc!

Cheers Roo,

I see the 77 is on the way out! I remember when you bought that!

I’m still working out whether to go for a simpler NA or a 944....

Cheap fun vs 80s flash

Sorry Andy

She was lovely but the danger drive to my local garage put me off her!

Rear fuel line spraying like a hose pipe one day near the exhaust - nearly ran out of fuel getting there... had to change my pants but the plan was to drive fast enough the wind would put out any fire

Got her fixed and then sold her and the mustang due to kids/space/time and been careless since

Regret selling them all - at the time seemed the right thing to do...

Are you still racing?
