My journey started last week in Portsmouth where I bought a 924, drove it up through London, onwards to Woolies Workshop for some parts and then up to Liverpool to get the ferry back to Belfast.

Looking forward to gaining some great knowledge here from you guys, first off I need to learn how to remove the glovebox to reglue the vinyl cover! If there are any other owners here in Ireland please give me a shout.

Here's a couple of photos. When I picked up the car the fuel cap didn't lock, I initially thought the fuel cap lock and key did not match but when I took it apart it turned out the little plastic cam inside was broken (even the spare fuel cap I had bought was broken in the same way). I went about fixing it by drawing it up in 3d and getting a replacement 3d printed, now works 100%.

I have a quick query hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. I have a switch on my centre console which looks like a headlight but it doesnt seem to do anything. I assumed it was for the front fog lights but they only operate with my main headlights? Can anyone help me figure out what its for?

the Fogs are actually spotlights, so come on with main beam, the switch gives you the ability to use them or not, leave them on, or you have no flash with the lights down

No i have a switch for the headlight washers which works. So if i have the high beam on I can switch off the fogs using the switch? Am I supposed to be able to turn the fogs on and off without having any other lights on because at present it doesnt do anything

As Chris said, they're not fog lights, they're spot lamps - extra high beam lamps.
They won't switch them on without the headlights switched on
