There are some things i think it is a bit pointless for main dealers to stock.

Correct, it's not that cheap but for circa £12 it's not outrageous.

It's all down to personal preference but I think the braided look hose looks better that clear hose.

Is this what would have been on the turbo originally or would it have been the clear tubing that has turned yellow on mine?

Over to the turbo guys to answer that, but as it's listed in the PET I'd assume so.

999 181 722 40 is listed in both the 924 & 924S PET files.

PCG 020 301 10 is listed in the 924S PET which has superceded N 020 301 1 which is listed in the copy of the 924 PET I have.

Thanks, I do think I prefer that braided look.

Clear is original. Braided was used on later 944 and probably superseded clear on pet.

Couple of pics from the kildrummy car club event this morning. Strong turn out and a good mix of particularly well restored motors.

My star of the show was probably the Saab.

I didn't realise that 968's could come with a fully blue leather interior. That's my sort of weird.

The Lotus Cortina engine bay is so tidy and elegant. Just 2 carbs, intake, straight in. Car enthusiasts must have thought that early fuel injection was such a mess when it first came out. (I'm too young to know)

Yes the 968 was really tidy, the owner was telling me it was a one owner car with around 90k on the clock. The interior is cobalt blue and looks even better in real life, almost purple looking.

Engine bay was just as nice.

That car is sooo good, it's worth putting the extra effort into the little details
