After a disastrous weekend with the Imp on the Lombard Rally Bath, the fuel pump failed on the way to the start

I did not know you were entering? I mentioned a while ago I was considering it but didn’t follow through. I was at Aust services for the PC.

it was all a bit last minute Steve

I got asked to provide a car for Rosemary Smith to drive (the Imp) about 10 days ago
she than got taken sick last Monday and cancelled,
I had a mad dash round and found a co-driver so I could still do the event
we broke down in Bath town centre about an hour before the start

Sounds like a nightmare! I did see two Imps and wondered later if they were you. Did you get moving again from Bath?

About 5 hrs later the RAC patrol help rebuild the mechanical pump to get us going again, but it would only fuel enough to get to 50mph so we had a slow drive home up the fosseway
