OK this prompt has got me going again.

Started Monaco Blue for the first time in a couple of months and fired up first time agin with no issues thanks I’m sure to the trickle charger I bought some time back.

Checked the DVLA site for each of the cars to find out if any of them
Are road worthy without having to get them MOT’d and Monaco Blue is the only one so going to see about getting her off SORN at the end of the month and used for any essential trips.

Pics to follow when she comes out of hibernation !

So !

I leased an i3 for two years a year or so back and just loved it but expected to be spoiled for choice when it came time to hand it back but there was nothing new on the market so thought I would do without for a while longer to see if anything new popped up but again nothing much. The new Tesla looked good and around the same price but not funky enough looking in my view so decided to go for another i3. I loved the first one, funky, fast, reliable and so easy to live with, could set it up to be nice and toasty when heading to work in the middle of winter via the phone and can drive it 90% of the time with one pedal due to the recharge braking system. You can no longer order the range extender model in the UK which is a pity as I thought that was a genius idea (little motorcycle engine that recharged the battery on the move and gave you another 80 miles of range) but this new model has a bigger battery that is good for 160+ miles and I only need 80 per day. I binned the sunroof for the leather this time round (roughly the same price and never really used or noticed the sunroof last time) and went for black instead of white but stuck with the bigger wheels.

Anyway couple of pics on the new i3 for info and more to follow on Monaco Blue shortly.

Been raining for about two weeks up here which on top of working from home and not allowed to travel more than 5 miles has resulted in very little 924 activity.

So ! Thought I’d post a few timeline pics just for the heck of it.

That’s me ordered up an oil service kit for each of the cars from Porsche and got the 924 booked in first at my local garage for the service so all being well should be back on the road for next week.

Started them all up again at the weekend and all good. The 911 was just turning over the last time I tried to start them all but fired up fine this time round.

Starting to get a bit excited!

Never managed to get the car down to the garage this week as planned but attached a pic of the oil service kit for the 924.
