Finally got her road taxed although not yet serviced so took her out for the first run in about a year.

Never missed a beat and loads of fun.

I have a problem !

The 924 was in for a service in advance of the regional concourse event this weekend where I also asked for the oil cooler to be replaced with one I managed to source off eBay. Both of the brackets on the old one had snapped off and I just wasn’t comfortable with it being held in place with cable ties even though it worked fine and was probably never going to move.

Anyway, the old one was bust when getting it off and turns out the replacement one which went on fine has a leak !

So ! I now need to either find a replacement oil cooler which is unique to the turbo and NLA from Porsche or find a company who can repair the leak.

Any support or advice welcome.

Malcolm- in.a previous existence we used to get oil coolers for HPU's repaired, was Aberdeen Radiator Services back in the day, but now Glacier Energy Services on Wellington Street, they've got a place in Altens as well.

Probably worth it given the rarity, depending on the price.

Well the replacement oil cooler from Woolies worked a treat so back on the road.

Unfortunately the Regional has been cancelled but took it for a wee blast this morning and just great fun.

Also picked up the 928 which was in for its MOT and service and it also got a good run.
