That's about as expected, right, if a little low? I'm surprised at the 61hp drivetrain loss.

Being high or low drivetrain loss?

On the same dyno equipment at our May 16 dyno day the drag was 40-50bhp and we felt the corrected results were hard on all our cars. I think most of us thought we were short changed. Personally I was pleased with mine. This is why sometimes its hard to compare results on differing dynos, on different days with different operators.

Well you've just confirmed it. I though 61bhp was a high loss, and you've said that even 40-50 is a high calculation.

John spoke to our operator I think on his thinking behind his dynos results and how 'accurate' he believes the rollers are. IIRC its the drag of the rollers not necessarily all the cars losses?? The drag is set for each car on each run from what I recall.

The car also has binding rear breaks at the moment so that will put it up a little too

And it decided to have a little oil wee on the dyno floor :dope:
It looks like a turbo oil feed oring couldn't take the presure

Good results John, I was hoping for circa 230bhp for you but sounds like it probably is putting that power out relative to the corrective gain differences etc.

Very impressive for a 924 Turbo John, the whole car is awesome.

If the drag figure is too high then the calculated engine power will be too high as well?

And that was our head scratching at the dyno day. High(ish) drag loss figures AND lowball (or realistic if you were the operator) bhp figures on a number of cars

I guess the whp number is the one to aim for? The drag numbers are different on all the cars tested on the dyno day
