While engine was out I decided to replace 30+ years old feed and refurn rubber hoses in engine bay. I found Cohline supplier so new hoses with Cohline hardware were made.

Thank You for kind words. I try to do it as good as possible.
Also I would like to help others with my knowledge and expirience - I know I searched a lot during last years to be able to prepare myself for "chalanges".

I used connection to hard line as seen on photos. Crimed connection was cut.

Also hoses at the other end was replaced.

Next few takes from rebuild.

I used factory Loctite 574 as sealant for balance, crankshaft gridle, oil pump. For me most important was to have leakfree oil sump so I used DOW Corning as per WM and PET - bloody expensive but also available on market. Instead of puting it only on corners I used it all the way around on gasket - it turned very well. I also added some sealant to outsode of those half round parts of oil pan just to be sure.

As You can see I used 944S2 oil cooler base to mount oil cooler. I run into issues with fittment of cooler due to power steering in my car. I had to fabricate pipes. I used Setrab & Fragola hardware.

Regarding oil cooler pipes I cut factory pipe to use AN fitting. It turned quite well I think. In future I will try to choose new Setrab oil cooler to replace old and scuffed 944S2 one. I think that oil cooling capacity and ability to dissapite heat is never " too much". Will scrach my head to fabricate mounting...

P.S. at the begining I had 944S2 late oil filter console but had to switch it to 951/944S2 early one (threaded connection).
