it has got some cracking on the dash but not to bad, I have now and again blathered the dash in petrolium gel that has kept the plastic reasonably supple.

I have kept the car as original as I can and have owned it since 1985, the only things that have been changed are the usual, brake discs and drums, altenator and starter motor, HT leads and dizzy cap and exhaust. The cam needed replacing when the spray bar snapped leading to oil starvation on the lobes (common failing), other than that I think I have had to change one rear light bulb in all that time, in 86,000 miles of motoring and 28 years on!

Very nice, and not pink either! Do you garage it? Nine is forever milky white around the headlight washers!

As you've owner it for so long, do you know what the finish is supposed to be like on the sills and spare wheel well? Mine needs to be refinished soon.

it had a respray 3 years ago and now is kept in a garage. The sills are finished in satin black the same as the wheel well, their is also a section from the rear wheel to the rear that should be satin black, I will try and photo it for you at some point,
