I’m probably going to regret this but just bought a new house that needs a lot of work and the 924 has got to go unfortunately,
It’s a series one 1980 model with 108000 Miles,

Good bits:
engine was rebuilt last year,
Bites checked for tolerance and honed
New Mable piston rings
New bearings ,
All new gaskets ,
New clutch and pressure plate,
Recently refurbished wheels with brand new toyo t1-Rs
Braided brake lines(not yet fitted)
Refurbed (kmi) warm up regulater
Refurbed (kmi) fuel distributer
New fuel pump
Blaupunkt Bluetooth headunit
Porsche script door cards
Gaz gold fully adjustable coilovers
Stainless Dansk backbox
Tim boost gauge in custom pod in centre of dash grille/vent, will come with standard blank vent aswell should you wish to remove it
Spare door cards non script black vinyl In good condition
Upgraded to series 2 intake manifold and throttle body(the series one throttle body leaks air as the. Roads bushes wear out, the series 2 one has been rebuilt using a kit from the USA )
Tool roll
Targa top leather bag
Cargo net
Stacks of history!
No crank sensor as it’s an s1 so no need to worry

Not so good bits

Hot starting issue, car runs excellent but after being left for about 20mins or more after a drive it takes several cranks for it to starts but allways starts
Very small water leak from sensor housing at back of head
Front seats have both cracked but fabric is in excellent condition
Paintwork is not perfect but still very presentable

Will add more pictures in the next couple of days guys, not listed for sale anywhere else as yet as it would be nice to keep it in the club

if anyone on here is interested
Forgot to add car is in Margate Kent

Price is right but I cant imagine 10k being a life saver when it comes to doing stuff on a house...yea 10k is a bit of money but the 924 offers so much more than 10k worth of money...I don't think that any 911 owner is happier with their car than a 924 owner.....also..i don't know exactly what the average wage in your area is but 10k must be around a couple or maximum 3-4 months worth of pay...which one can pick up as a credit line with minimum interest to do things on the house.
Just saying...spending some cash on a house is not a reason to sell a piece of your happiness.

Simply put, the 924 is not worth selling as it offers you much more while its yours than the money you get for it.

Can always be negotiated down, never up, unless you are lucky and two buyers are desperately trying to buy the car from you!!!

Get it on a few classic selling webpages such as https://www.carandclassic.co.uk. Say why you are asking the money you are and if you are open to negotiation or offers in the ad. Stay with the positives, avoid the negatives until negotiating with a prospective buyer

I think it's a very good price when you consider the work put in and also the spares included. You definitely need to get it advertised on all the usual sites though, selling can be a painfully slow process so you need all the exposure you can get.

The price will be normal in a few months time once the sun re-appears, if you can find a way to hold on I would rather than dropping your price.

Chappers,

Price is right for a quick sale but if in two minds I would stick in a much higher number and see what happens.

It’s a really nice colour and looks to be in good condition.

I’d start at £20k and see how it goes.

Also agree with the comment that £10k won’t make or break a property development.

Keep the car and just work round the bomb site for a few more months.

What’s going on with the 924 turbo at the moment.

This has to be a good buy for someone.
