A very nice original, low mileage/low owner 924S with full history.

One of the last 924S manufactured & therefore 156bhp version. Earlier S had slightly detuned 944 engine (148bhp). Evidently this made the 924S slightly faster than base 944, as a lighter and more aerodynamic car. I realise it’s only splitting hairs, but this does make it a rarer model.

Registered October 1988 (new invoice present & original 924S sales brochure). Current mileage of 77.5k (all old MOTs present), five previous owners (2 were husband and wife - see below). MOT until October 2021.

1988-2002 two owners, total 71.5k miles. Full Porsche service history, with fully stamped service book, except for years 1999 & 2000. However receipts for both the latter, included in history folder, and using the same Porsche Dealer (Evans Halshaw) as all previous services.

Sold to third owner, and next full service at 72k miles in 2002.
Sold to 4th owner (garage owner/collector) in 2003 & owned until 2020 (17 yrs) covering just 5.5k miles in this period. Registered to wife in May 2020 (when spouse passed away) and sold to myself by agent in November 2020.

I purchased car with intent to use as a track day car, hence now fitted with genuine D90 Porsche (944) wheels with new Nankang NS2R tyres (these with original Tele dials included in price). Also included are new, never used, not yet fitted Cobra bucket seats. But now I’ve sorted through all paperwork and history, this isn’t IMHO the cars best future use. Better to preserve as a very nice original car with full history - hope you agree?

Since purchase I have fully serviced car and fitted new timing and balance belt, together with all new rollers. All receipts available (Design 911). Has been garaged since, and covered circa 25 test miles.

PCGB current valuation is £11k (valuation certificate present).
For sale with D90 wheels + new tyres & bucket seats @ £10k.
Can negotiate on price if the latter not wanted.
Car is located in North East Essex.

(Note - there is a tear in passenger seat. See image)

I would be very interested in a ‘track day’ car, but road registered in part-exchange.

This is a stunning late 924S. I hope someone here buys it and we see more of it. Great color combo as well

Nice car, looks much better with silver wheels IMHO.

Yes - no problem. Silver Teledials (R15) included in sale
Black wheels purchased primarily for their size (16") with track focussed tyres (205/55).
These can always be changed to Silver - if refurb ever needed.

Looks good on both wheels if you ask me but i would prefer the silver ones to contrast a bit with the rest of this lovely 924S .

Would it not be better to hang on to the D90s if you're looking for not so good condition 924S for track work?

Yes - good point. But I've actually seen another track car that I would like to purchase. A VX220 - a model I'm very familiar with. I certainly wouldn't object to a track 924S though.

A VX220 is a good option, and its rarity makes it particularly interesting. Quick car compared with a 924S

When you say tear in passenger seat, do you mean the carpet as in the photo?
