A reminder that the New Years Day gathering is taking place at Brooklands again this year. Details are on the above link.

In previous years we’ve met just around the corner at the Horizon Business Park at 8.45am and gone in together as the gates open at 9.00am
Anyone up for this?

I won’t be there this year, :boohoo:
Highly recommend this event, the range of cars you will see is amazing.

I'd like to make it, providing I can wake up early enough.

Where exactly is Horizon Business Park. I think I've found a post code, but don't know the area.

It’s immediately on your left as you come off the roundabout turning off the A245 onto the B374 to go up to “The Heights” gate into Brooklands.

Edited to say i wont be going now, gave it a proper clean and polish and thought i'd better have a nosey under the bonnet to find that the fuel rail is leaking :dope:

Really sorry but I'm not going to be able to make it now as I have a brakes problem that needs fixing but won't get done in time.

To answer a couple of questions I've been asked via PM, here's a map of how to get there from the M25:

And here's the meeting place, it's on the left about 100yds from the roundabout after you turn onto the B374.

Nothing has been booked, you just join the queue at Campbell Gate and pay on the way in. You'll be directed where to park.

It's definitely worth going, especially of you've not visited the museum before, as there's loads to see and do. Even if you have there's always a really interesting and broad range of old cars, from the super-exotic to the more down to earth everyday cars held together with gaffer tape.

Happy New Year everyone, hope 2019 is a good one for you all!
