I agree don't knock one out for another, nothing wrong with more than one 924's and coffee meet.

Thanks Steve, I understand what you're saying, but I think that as long as the Ace Cafe is popular I'm all for carrying it on and having additional meet ups at other places.
Not 100% sure of the distant history of the Ace Cafe meet (and it's not really important) but I've understood it to be a geographically well placed South East region meet up with the bonus that its location makes it relatively easy for members to travel some distance from a number of directions (M4, M40, M1 etc) so it's become more of a Club 'Season Opener' than just a regional thing.
I'm happy to go with the flow... I'm not sure if the place you mentioned would be considered South East so I might leave it to someone a bit more Midlands to sort out.

Ace is easy for the Midlands too, nice Cotswold run for a part of it.
