Not sure if this has been flagged up before, but PCGB are hosting a transaxle w/e at the British Motor Museum Gaydon. It is apparently open to all owners of transaxle Porsche. Nice central location for a big gathering?

PS not sure where to stick this event as Warwickshire doesn't exist as far as the compiler of our Regions is concerned

Like most things PCGB, you need to be 'in the club' and get the magazine to see what they are up to. Even their website + forum is limited of club activities and events. If your name is not down, you're not coming in

Not listed in Gaydon's activities, coincides with national slot car festival, perhaps PCGB are being reclusive.Shame really.

It's listed on the PCGB website as a 'Member' event

"Transaxle Display at the British Motor MuseumMEMBER EVENT
Jointly organised by the Club’s 928 & 968 Register Register Secretaries, all transaxle owners are invited to take part in display parking and a gathering at the British Motor Museum, Gaydon on Saturday, 18th May.

As well as all transaxle examples, the event is also open to Panamera owners, who may wish to compare notes with Porsche’s GT predecessors.

Club members can enjoy display parking and discounted entry into the museum at just £10 a head, payable on the day. In recent years the museum has undergone a large refurbishment and opened a new large building which includes an "open to viewing" workshop and houses the full Jaguar car collection, previoulsy at Browns Lane.

Pre-registration is requested in order to gauge the numbers expected on the day and can be completed using the form below:"

However, at Bicester in January Ricky mentioned this event was being planned saying he thought he might be able to get us involved (or at least that's how I interpreted it).
The museum will be open to the public so, even if we turn up unannounced, we are free to park in the regular area (which is rarely busy) as a group

I am sure an approach to the appropriate person by our Regional/Events organiser would probably meet with a decent response.
