Another big thanks to Brandon and family for hosting, a good day out!

I wondered who was going to take that gas analyser home... but only when half way home myself!
It was given to me by Rob Clarke on the condition it was available to the club so it's a club resource. It does need new filters though... I'll try and find some.

The spanner and sponge event was the first meeting I have attended with the 924 owners club. I was apprehensive about attending, having no any idea what to expect. I was instantly put at ease by a friendly greeting and a welcome cup of coffee from Brandon. From then on the day just kept getting better. An informal but very well organised get together which included a sit down meal at a very impressive table. My concerns about the 924 I had purchased 8 months ago were put into prospective when it became clear that the majority of 924’s suffered from the same or at least very similar problems to the ones I was experiencing. May be they are not problems at all but should be considered to be challenges. A sincere thank you to every one who attended and gave me their advice and allowed me to share the experience they have gained by owning 924’s for several years. I hope I will be in a position to pass similar information on to new 924 owners in a few years time. A very special thank you for the hospitality provided by Brandon and his family which exceeded any thing I had imagined. Now, just waiting for the next one.
Thanks again everyone, Don.

Nice to meet you Don and good to see you on the forums. You have a belting looking motor, make sure you keep us updated with the gearbox work!
