I don't know the condition of my car as its out at the moment! Despite the problems, I am excited about tomorrow and driving down to Northampton tonight for a pit stop and up tomorrow morning to Silverstone! Praying everything goes OK! :worship:

Okay just arrived nice and safe trouble free. Just met Richard kirk who is here we are going to the bull at six for a meal then after on to the plough. The bull is noted as a restaurant rather than a pub to chat so we will drive to the plough and hopefully meet up with you guys.

I just have to wait patiently now for my car to come back then it's paint wing, valance, Hoover and decide if I have time to leg it upto Silverstone tonight or leave early hours tomorrow morning

It's all part of the fun isn't it :woohoo:

Told the receptionist at the Travelodge to tell John and Richard I cancelled the room as I wasn't going to make and that they are fully booked when then turn up ha ha.

Have a beer on me boys see you sometime

Fritz just back from the garage - has come home with new brake pads but no rear wiper/wing mirror action. Initially I had no indicators either - but I noticed fuse 8 had been dislodged from its antiquated perch and soon rectified, now fellow travellers have an idea of where I'm lurching... Just managed to wash the car then the heavens opened. The remaining pampering/stickering is now on hold. Back inside writing the load list, charging camera batteries, checking my tent. Will be a late fish and chip supper methinks.
