Dear all,

please see the attached. Serving and ex-servicemen are invited to attend the Sunday morning gathering at 11am in Hall 5.
As ever, we will participate in the two minute silences as requested, it's a poignant moment, in that vast space you can hear a pin drop.

We will be asking all people at the Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show with Discovery to recognise a 2-minute silence at 11am on Saturday 11th November for Armistice Day and then again at 11am on Sunday 12th November for Remembrance Sunday.

On Sunday, we would like to invite all current and ex-service personnel to join us just before 11am at the Discovery Live Stage in Hall 5 so we that we can thank them in person for their commitment and sacrifice. Please could we ask you to let members of the The Porsche 924 Owners Club know that we would be delighted if they could join us for this tribute - be it as a keen supporter or as a medal wearing veteran.

I look forward to seeing you next week. If you have any outstanding questions, please just ask.

It's very tall too. Couldn't they make mezzanine levels for the show or dangle cars from the air like Porsche and McLaren museums?

This is rather embarrassing.

Did you all know the show is this weekend?

I didn't. I thought the show was next weekend so, I've booked the leave, booked the accommodation and just thought I'd sit down with a cuppa and book the tickets for next weekend!

Am I f#*ked off, oh yes I am. It looks like the aptly named village idiots, are not coming.

However, if anyone requires accommodation for next weekend Comic-con, I can offer you a good rate on accommodation at the premier inn.

I'm now off for a sulk........

Last year I tried very hard to get a picture of that with my Le Mans, but it was backed straight on to it's stand and I never got a chance :sad:

Arghh. So frustrating. I'm not sure what information lead you to this mistake. I never had any doubts or confusion as to the date.
