What's on offer?

Our National Rally, with the focus being to get as many Turbo variant cars together as we can to celebrate the 40th anniversary of launch . However, all 924 models will be more than welcome to join in.

Driving Experience

We have exclusive use of the Three Sisters Race Circuit. Similar to 92Forty, we are offering sessions on the track to allow you to improve and develop your driving safely. The circuit has been freshly re-surfaced so offers an amazing opportunity to try out your car on a consistent, predictable road.

There will be two levels of driving experience on offer. The first is to have a ride-along instructor in your car for your booked session. Before you venture onto the track, you will have time to explain what you'd like to get from the session and therefore maximise the time on track. These places are limited, so early booking is vital.

The second is to take part in a session without an instructor. Here you will be able to hone your skills further.

You can book multiple sessions throughout the day. Many people have suggested that they might book an instructed session and then follow this up later, with time on the track alone to practise. This is fine. You have no need to have an instructed session at all to book track time (but we'd highly recommend you do).

Each session should allow you 20 minutes on track. This relies upon slick timings and promptly getting on and off the track. A strict timetable will be adhered to so that following members do not miss out. Should you not leave the track at the designated time, you will be charged (Sorry, I had to put that in).

There is a requirement to wear a helmet on the track. Helmet hire can be made available but it is better to bring your own. Arms and legs must be covered at all times whilst on the track too.

You must ensure you have enough insurance cover and arrange with your insurer any extra cover you need. The club will not be liable for any damage caused by or to your car.

Costs

Thanks to the generous support of Gmund cars we have secured, quite frankly, an unbelievable deal!

Member Prices

Car entry -£10 Entitles you entry to the event and static display. You may bring passengers along too.
Instructed time - £25
Non-instructed time - £15

Non Members Pricing

Car entry -£25 Entitles you entry to the event and static display. You may bring passengers along too.
Instructed time - £30
Non-instructed time - £20

How to book your place

1- email: events@porsche924.co.uk
2- State the tickets you need and the track sessions you would like. Please also state a preference for the time of day you'd prefer for track sessions (although it will be first come, first served). Ideally state your membership number to speed up processing. Please tell me your full name and address for ticketing. It is also helpful to know your mobile number, in case we need to contact you on the day.
3- Ed will send an acknowledgement within 48 hours and provisionally book your spaces.
4- Send payment, via PayPal, to the club porsche924ownersclub@gmail.com
5- Once funds are confirmed, tickets and joining instructions will be sent via Royal Mail. Ed will do this in weekly tranches (no one likes queuing at the Post Office, do they?)

What else is on offer?

We will be setting up a small "Village" area for traders and displays. We have a lot of people interested and will confirm as they do.

Gmund cars
Woolies Workshop
Toyo Tyres Race Cars

We are considering setting up a small auto-test area for people to try out.

There is a club house with a fully licensed bar and cafe. There is also a large briefing room.

GET IT BOOKED ASAP

Just to nip in the bud any misconceptions about this.

It is NOT a turbo only event. Far from it, it is our National Rally for the year and all 924s are welcome. I certainly won't be able to rush out and buy a turbo, just for this, and have every intention of wasting lots of petrol around the track, in my old NA!
